Writer looking for wine-related advice

I'm an amateur writer, and I don't drink wine. However, a character I am currently working with swell-versed in the language and experiences of wine-tasting. She is living in the 18th century, and confronted with a sub-par blush wine (subject to change) presented by someone she doesn't like. Can anyone help me generate sufficiently sophisticated and knowledgable insults for this character to deliver in polite company?
