What's a good sweet-but-not-cloyingly-sweet red that you can find in most grocery stores?

I had this really good Valkenberg Dornfelder at a restaurant once, is there something similar I could find at a grocery store? I liked it because it had sweetness that I could taste, but it wasn't sickenly sweet by any means.
