With the news about cheaper wine prices to come.

I made a thread about how to get started in wine.

i recently got interested in wine because i saw the news that wine prices will most likely drop. I have been interested in Whiskey but living in WA state, its a very expensive hobby.

So I kinda have my eyes on wine atm.

But i was wondering, are there a decent guideline on what wines to try to get a feel of what flavors one might enjoy?

with whiskey, theres a pretty clear path. but i dont see 1 for wine.
