Could you settle my bet? Is the average bottle of cheap wine blended? I googled it but got lost in the jargon..

I am on the "even cheap wine is, like, 'single source', surely?" side of the bet. The wager is a bottle of cheap wine. Cheap in this case is <£8. From the little I learned I want to exclude blending barrels of the same type/year of wine, that surely doesn't count. I don't think blended is bad, I understand tea and coffees are mostly blends, I'm not even sure why I think wines are different!

Thanks, and fingers crossed I'll be drinking a lovely single origin £3.99 red this evening.
