Weird Question about Liquor/Wine Stores

This may be a dumb/odd question, but I've always wondered how much liquor stores pay for their wine? I.e. You buy a $90 bottle of Burgundy at a restaurant which actually costs $35 if you bought it in the store. But how much did the wine store pay for it? If you own a liquor store/wine distributor do you personally have continual access to low priced wine? Perhaps someone in the retail community could offer some insight. Thanks.
