Where to begin?

Hey, I'm wanting to start purchasing a few bottles to hold onto for special occasions/just to hold for longer periods. (if they increase in value even better). I was hoping you wonderful wino's might suggest some bottles to begin with, that will mature well over a little time that won't bankrupt me upto £50 per bottle? any ideas?
