Wine vocabulary: what is this flavor?

I'm new to drinking wine thoughtfully and I'm trying to learn to tease apart flavors. There's a quality I've noticed in several reds, typically Merlots, but most recently in a Malbec (Cruz Alta 2019) that I would almost call a savory flavor. I might call it "buttery" if it weren't for the texture connotation of that word. Anyone know what to call this?
