What should I do with my first Wine bottle if I hate the taste.

I tried Wine for the first time today and looked for recommendations for a beginner. I saw decent reviews for the McGuigan Black Label Red and purchased it for 7 dollars (probably should have spent more). It tastes so bitter and awful the taste went straight into my nose. It feels like a waste to throw away now. Is there anything I can do to make it taste better.
