What is the best but still affordable way to experience Pinot Noir?

I'm usually a Côtes du Rhône or Bordeaux guy. I only tried a few cheap Pinot Noir wines here and there and I didn't like them at all. While a good Burgundy might show what can be really achieved using Pinot Noir, it surely is not an affordable way to learn about the grape. My question is: Can you recommend any region that does not particularly make the best Pinot Noir, but the most typical that shows its characteristics in an affordable way?

Affordable to me means sub 30 dollars. Obviously, if you know any Burgundy that meets these criteria, even better. Living in Europe btw.

Thanks!
