I moved into a new house and the previous owners left a bunch of wine from the 80s in the basement. I assumed wine gets better with age but googling some of these, it seems like they should have been drank during certain time periods which have already passed. They are mostly cab, few other things. Should I even try these? If I try one and it’s bad should I throw all the other bottles of the same year and type away? What about white wine, are those good to drink?
