Possible to saber a Sekt?

I have experience in sabering a bottle of Champagne with a proper sable. I was wondering if it's possible to do the same with a German Sekt because it's not a methode traditionel but a Charmant methode and the pressure inside the bottle will be diffrent.

Does anybody here have any experience?
