I'm visiting Ontario and have been tremendously enjoying this smooth and velvety wine with plum and blueberry notes. Unfortunately I'm heading back overseas, where baco noirs will be hard to find.
Is there anything similar that anyone can recommend?
Some appassimento wines that I've tried have had similar plum notes and a certain degree of sweetness, but would love to find a more perfect substitute for a bottle that has become my new favorite casual wine (at $16-ish CDN).
