Riesling recommendation

I am looking for a dessert wine that me and my boyfriend will both like. I tend to like drier whites, he loves sweet. I bought us Leonard Kreutsch Riesling Mosel, and while he liked it, I found it really bland and lacking acidity. What wines fit the bill of recognizably sweet but complex and not candied?
