Why are there no big wine brands?

I love all alcoholic drinks and I have noticed that the tendency in most industries is to lead to the creation of a few big dominating brands (e.g. Heineken, Carlsberg, Bud, Coors etc come to mind for beer), but not a single company comes to mind that makes standard macro wine for a huge market, at least not at this scale. Is it because wine drinkers don't want a standard wine? Does wine not benefit from economies of scale as much as beer and spirits?
