Newbie Help - Is Chandon generally good for a gift?

For my sister's birthdays this year I was looking at doing a year of Club Chandon memberships. The problem is that my favorite wine is whatever's open in front of me, but they've come to enjoy fine wines and can appreciate them. Can anybody help out a guy who's lost in the sauce?
