Trying to Understand Wine Ratings - Relative or Absolute?

There have been several articles about this online. And I understand the reasoning can get really deep with region, producer, grape variant and ultimately preference as variables. But just looking at wine critics' ratings, are they relative or absolute to all the other wines they've tasted? Just need someone to break it down plain and simple for me.

For each critic, is a ...

95-point Clos de Tart > 93-point DRC La Tache ?

95-point Bourgogne Blanc > 93-point Domaine Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet?

99-point Vogue Musigny > 94-point Leroy Musigny?

99-point NZ Pinot > 93-point DRC RC?

In terms of wine quality if tasted blind.

There are probably better and more extreme examples.
