Eurocave currently offer two types of bottle shelf: the pullout shelf on runners and the fixed wooden 'stack em high'. If using the fixed shelf, does it matter if the 2nd, 3rd etc tier of bottles touch the sides of the wine fridge ? Reading around appears to suggest bottles touching the side of a fridge restricts air circulation and promotes xondensation and mould. Not good. Photos from the wine fridge manufacturers show bottles packed in, and not stacked in a 'pyramid' format to keep them away from the sides.

Does anyone have any insight into this ?
