Red wines recommendations for summer

Hi friends,

Hope you are all well.

As the summer is arriving here in France I was wandering if you had recommendations for good "summer" red wines.

We are quite found of wines like some Australian Shiraz/Cabernet for example.

I heard some Merlot and Beaujolais are good for summers but we don't really know if that's true or where to start with them.
