Côtes d'Auvergne wine recommendations

Hi Fellow Redditors,

I am in search of some recommendations for some Côtes d'Auvergne wine. My colleague is retiring and they lived in Clermont-Ferrand for a bit during their career, so I figured some wines from the region would be nice. However, I only know the basics of wine so any and all recommendations are welcomed!

My budget is $400 usd and I'm open to getting a single bottle or multiples.
