Preamble: Not going to say much on this here, as I know a lot of hate runs deep for Naked Wines on here, but in my opinion I’ve had success with finding new offerings, value and some good wines. The Winemaker: Derek Rohlffs is first generation winemaker with an interesting path into opening his winery Bravium. Featured on Michelin Starred Restaurants wine lists he’s received numerous awards and accolades.

I don’t know about you, but most Anderson Valley Pinot I come across in any local shop or store range in the mid 20’s to 30’s per bottle for the lower end ones.

My review notes:
A cool brisk breeze off the Pacific Ocean. Quite smooth and pleasant. Strong Earth and nice and dry with a peppery spice finish. Hint of Pine. Some nice depth for a Pinot Noir.
At a good $10 cheaper than Rohlffs own Bravium releases i found this one a winner.
For 15 years, Athan Zafirov has traveled the vineyards around the world and worked with some of the greatest chefs including Francois Duc and Alan Brown.
