How to make an open bottle of wine last.

I love my wine, I opened a nice bottle when we had a steak dinner and it is going to waste. I had two glasses and I am on meds where two glasses is enough and I don’t drink very often. Is there a tool or way to make it last longer than a week. Usually drink on Saturday or Sunday. It is now sitting in the basement corked w original cork for a week.
