Should I buy 1979 Opus One?

A private collector is selling the very first vintage of Opus One signed by Robert Mondavi for $700. Am I crazy or does that sound like a steal? The bottle seems to be in pretty good condition for being over 40yo. Not sure if the signature adds or takes away from its value...
