What are some confusable wine styles from different regions?

If you’re tasting blind, with no hints of variety/region, what are some wines/wine styles that could easily get confused with each other?

Someone recently commented that El Enemigo Cabernet Franc is very similar to 15% Oaky Boomer Cabs, for example. I also saw someone compare E. Guigal’s Hermitage Blanc to Lopez de Heredia’s Viña Tondonia Blanco. (Which I hope is true!)

Could it also be the case that some terroirs are very similar to each other, since regions in different parts of the world can have similar climate?
