Hello everyone!
In 2021 I had the opportunity to taste an old Chateau des Tours (Vacqueyras) at a dinner party. I'm not 100% sure about the vintage but I believe it was 1999. I was really impressed by the wine and thought it would be great to age a case when I'd start buying and ageing wine in a proper cellar.
Now I had a look recently and it seems this is not an easy wine to get a hold of, and as a result I may have to find a replacement (i.e. a wine that would have a similar profile and be able to age as well). Would you have any recommendations for me? I don't mind trying several options, and ideally I'd like the choices to remain under 80-100 euros a bottle.
Many thanks!
PS: I'm French, still located in France for a few weeks, then I'll move to the US for several years, if this is of any relevance regarding wine availability
