I would like to start collecting a few fine vintage wines. I thought I'd start with my birth year - 1994. I've done my research and found it generally wasn't considered a notable year, however Rioja produced legendary 1994 vintages. I love a cheeky Rioja so it felt like the stars have aligned that this was their year (& my year).
Now, I know I want a 1994 vintage Rioja.
But where do I purchase such a vintage? I've been looking at HedonismWines.co.uk (I'm based in the UK) but any merchants or advice would be appreciated. Either advice of what to look/avoid in a 90s vintage or where/how to shop for them.
