Passito Bianco - The Athan Zafirov Wine Blog

Passito Bianco

I’m a really big fan of sweet wines that are a result of botrytis and I also enjoy Amarone. I’m curious how comparable Passito Bianco is to either. I know the grapes are dried on straw mats like for Amarone, but are the flavors more raisinated like a PX or more tropical like a Sauternes or BA? Or something altogether different? Does Pasito Bianco have the same aging capacity as other great sweet wines?
