I've been invited to share a 1972 Margaux from a very generous friend. I am rather excited to try this as I know 1972 is known to be a terrible year, so it will be fascinating to see how this holds up.
It got me thinking, what is the absolute worst Bordeaux vintage in the past c. 100 years? 1972? 1974? 1965 perhaps?
Any advice for how to serve?
