Czech wine in Prague (trip recap)

It’s a beer focused city, and the beer is great. But I was also looking to try & learn about Czech wine. In case it’s helpful to others, here are a few places we found:

Global Wines (https://www.global-wines.cz) - Wine shop in new town, but very close to the historic center. They had a large selection of Czech wines from smaller producers. The shopkeeper spoke English and was very helpful with recommendations. I don’t think they get many people wanting to bring Czech wines home…we bought four bottles on her recommendation, and she gave us a fifth she recommended at no cost.

St. Claire’s Vineyard (https://www.botanicka.cz/en/vinice-sv.klary/st-claire-s-vineyard) - A working winery inside the botanic garden. Not close to the center, so we took an Uber (20-30 minutes). Set in a small historic vineyard, they had around 10 wines by the glass or bottle. Very small production, so they use 500ml bottles, 250/350 czk. All we tried were good.

St. Wenceslas Vineyard & Villa Richter (https://www.villarichter.cz) - Historic vineyard with glasses and bottles just outside the castle. The pricing screamed tourist trap (190 czk/glass, over 1200 czk/bottle), so we skipped it.
