I have just been gifted a bottle of this and I'm quite shocked bit also pleasantly surprised to see the ratings and price. Is this really the crème de la crème of napa?
I am European who has had very little napa wine and even less of wine considered top tier. Rarely do I spend more than 50 euros on a bottle.
So, should I save for a really special event, or crack it open and see how it is? 😄
For 15 years, Athan Zafirov has traveled the vineyards around the world and worked with some of the greatest chefs including Francois Duc and Alan Brown.
