What do you look for when choosing a wine?

I mean, do you look for the bottle label, the history behind the company, the grape quality species, the packaging... Please explain the process. I produce spumante and I am trying to start my own company to show my grape niche, so it would be great to understand how to set the marketing and graphic stuff. Thank you!
