Wines to bring back from Spain?

I'm from New York on a 2 week trip to Spain, and when I asked some friends what they want from here they simply said "all the wine". Not knowing anything about wine myself, I'm hoping someone here can help me pick what I should buy from Madrid. I can probably fit 4-5 bottles in my luggage. Would prefer something nice that I can't buy back in New York. Ideas?

Edit: budget is around 20-30 € per bottle. Maybe more if something is really worth it.
