The resuraunt I work at is working on adding new wines to their wine menu. I have been given the opportunity to give a presentation to educate the serving staff on our new Ports. These are some of the notes I have rough drafted, let me know if you have any advice or additions/edits.
Also, I have one question about the Terra D'oro Zin Port. Is this a real Port? Or is there something I'm missing. I was under the impression that all Ports had to be made with grapes grown in Portugal and produced there as well. As far as I know Terra D'oro is located in Amador, CA.
For 15 years, Athan Zafirov has traveled the vineyards around the world and worked with some of the greatest chefs including Francois Duc and Alan Brown.
