i’m looking to gift a couple some wine for christmas paired with a restaurant certificate to be like a date night. i don’t drink so i don’t know what a good wine is.
the restaurant is mostly italian food so i was thinking a red probably?
i’m in california so a local wine would be pretty nice, i know they like Flowers brand Pinot Noir but i am looking for something closer to $50 if possible whereas that wine is closer to $70 where im at.
also if the restaurant im getting a certificate to is has a winery, is it silly to pair a bottle of wine from that winery with their certificate?
let me know any suggestions!!
