I’m visiting Champagne for a few days and was wondering if anyone has any up-to-date tips? There is some good info in older threads that I found already.
We’re starting with a night+dinner (and hopefully tasting?) at Les Avises and will see if we can visit somewhere local the next day. Argapart perhaps as I’m in Avize already?
From there probably a day or two in Epernay and then on to Reims. Would love to visit some cool smaller houses as well as one or two famous ones.
Ruinart seems impressive but very LVMH priced at €85 for a tour with two glasses. LeClerc Briant I heard good things about from a friend. Any tips on which houses to (not) visit would be appreciated!
A minivan day trip from Reims (AirBnB experience) also seems fun and is rated highly. Does anyone have any experience with this?
