Pretty new to Port in that I have only had a 2017 Hartford RRV Zinfandel Port that I absolutely loved. Since then I have been wanting to try more Port and was thinking about getting half a case of 2007 Taylor Fladgate because I've heard great things about this vintage in particular and want to try a Port actually from Portugal. I would probably drink a bottle this year and let the rest age for quite some time so that I can drink it throughout its lifespan.
For those who have tried it, would you recommend it? How did it evolve uncorked? What should I expect when tasting it now compared to five or ten years from now? Do you have any other Port recommendations?
Thanks!
