Just thinking. A fair percentage of people here work with the hospitality industry, some (like myself are peripheral, build some venues in Melbourne. Storing and purchasing wine is always on my mind. I watched a video of a great retail store recently, lots of bottles standing upright. Let’s say you find something you really like, buy it. What is the opinion of the vinophiles, with them storing this. Would there be a worry of provenance? If it were magnums or larger would you worry about the oxidation? Same size cork but double volume, double time/set standing upright before issues? Do somms worry about storage or larger formats?
