Storing wine at room temperature (or splurge for another fridge)

Trying to decide if I should splurge on a second fridge (you were right, it’s never big enough!).

Also trying to budget my money.

So, if I store my wine (sub-$100 bottles) at room temperature in a dark closet for hopefully not longer than a year, will it significantly be detrimental?

edit: room temperature being 75f/24c and 42-45% humidity
