Brought this bottle over to a casual gathering with friends, where we had some nice pizzas. It was enough for all 8-9 people to have a glass or two, and everyone really enjoyed it. No one there was really a wine snob at all, but me being someone who appreciates some $30-$60 bottles, I found it to go really well with pizza as a simple table wine. And at about $13 for 1.5 liters, you can't go wrong. In the past, I have also used this wine when making an Italian favorite, which is cut up peaches, placed in glass jars, and soaked in wine for a couple days. The peaches become winey, and the wine becomes peachy. So good!
Any other similar wines you guys recommend? Costco wines at this price point have thus far disappointed me, but I would love for that trend to be changed by something you guys recommend.
