Good base to explore the Jura region ? (spring 2026)

We're planning a trip in the area, maybe 3 nights in Jura and 3 nights either in Burgundy or Beaujolais.

Last week or April (more or less)

Any experience in the Jura area ?

Arbois seems to be the logical place to land ourselves and drive around to explore some of the wineries (still making a list,)

Ideally, would like to find a place to sleep where we can eat in the evening and drink without having to drive.
