Best affordable wines for a 30pax party

Hi! I’m hosting a party for 30-40pax. Will have beer and spirits as well, but fine with having a little too much as I can always use extra bottles for drinking or gifting. I’d to keep budget down as much as possible as possible without serving swill (or drinking swill myself)

  1. How much red/ white/ rose
  2. What wines do you recommend in the $20 range that fits the bill (obviously cheaper welcome!
