Progression in the wine industry?

Hello wine insiders. I wanted to ask about progression routes within the wine industry, in general, but mainly for my specific case.

I'm 44, in the UK, and just started part-time in a wine shop three months ago. I love it! Or at least large part of it, especially the one where I interact with customers. I advise people on the shop floor and run tastings for groups of about 30 people. I really enjoy it and get great feedback.

The other part of retail - unloading pallets and stocking shelves, dealing with ordering software, is less glamorous, but it has to be done, so I do it.

I have WSET 2 and some background in wine, food and travel writing. Outside of wine, I have mostly worked in marketing, communications, SEO, etc

I wonder what wine jobs are actually realistic for me next? I can't say I am very keen on progressing within the store and aiming for positions such as assistant manager and the like. It feels more like admin than wine work. But what else is there? What paths have you seen people successfully move into from this stage? Are there any smart moves I could do in the next year or two? Thanks!
