My wife and I are visiting Napa for the first time this January. We love wine but also would never pay more than like 100-120 dollars for a bottle of wine (in extreme circumstances). We live in the 20-50 dollar range. We know more than most of our friends about wine by are no means experts.
For our anniversary I was thinking about going to promontory as I heard how wonderful it is and would love to try truly remarkable wine. I wasn’t sure if this type of tour would mainly be for people with a more expensive taste or who might actually buy a 500+ dollar of wine (no judgement just would not ever do this personally). I don’t want to waste the business time or be judged for not having a frequent tasting of that level of wine; and although I would love to try it wouldn’t want to intrude.
