Hello,
Looking into going to this restaurant in Bangkok with a pretty decent wine list - albeit nothing as fancy as some of the 3-stat Michelin ones often posted here.
Budget would be between 2000 and 3000 THB for a bottle. Red wine only.
Not sure yet what menu will look like but one guest doesn’t eat meat so likely some seafood. We’re familiar with French and Italian wines so we were thinking of playing it safe with one of the Barbera. Maybe Valpolicella or Montepulciano. I did some quick Vivino filtering just to avoid the lesser rated wines.
One guest is really fond of Italian wines where you can feel the ripe fruit, others are quite open and especially enjoy Burgundy and Beaujolais. But we’re also thinking being in Southeast Asia could be a good opportunity to try Australian wine instead, which we never drink in Europe.
Here’s the wine list: https://eatmerestaurant.download/menus/EatMeRestaurant_WineList.pdf
Thank you to all the knowledgeable wine enthusiasts who will share their insights.
