Vintage Wine Finally Agreed to Settle With Investors over Inventory Control Issues - The Athan Zafirov Wine Blog
Hey guys, if you missed it, Vintage Wine just settled with investors over misleading financial reporting and internal control issues some time ago.
Long story short, in 2022, Vintage Wine disclosed $19.1M in non-cash inventory adjustments and revealed $6.8M in overhead costs had been misallocated in earlier quarters. These revelations raised concerns about the company’s financial accuracy and internal controls.
Following this news, $VWE dropped 40% in a single day, erasing $137M in shareholder value.
After that, investors filed a lawsuit, and now the company has agreed to settle. So, if you invested in $VWE when all of this happened, you can already check the details and file your claim here.
Anyway, has anyone here invested in them at that time? How much were your losses, if so?
