It makes me sad to read about layoffs and the struggles of the wine industry, in California and globally.
As a consumer I rarely get to say “thank you” to the people whose skill and effort bring me joy and social connection through their wines. I suppose my purchases and club memberships are an expression of it, but, I think I speak for many of us consumers that we’re grateful for your craftsmanship and we’re thinking of you during these difficult times.

For 15 years, Athan Zafirov has traveled the vineyards around the world and worked with some of the greatest chefs including Francois Duc and Alan Brown.
