Hello all! I am reaching out for some guidance on a wine to pick out for my wedding. My fiancee and I have a lot of things in common, but wine is not on the list. It's been a minor struggle to try and find something that we can both enjoy without too much compromise from either side. Here are notes from what I know:
My taste: Heavier body. First wine experiences were drinking dry Cabs and Zins. Okay with the occasional pinto noir or shiraz. Have not explored white wine besides moscato (no thanks) and one sad experience with a cheap chardonnay.
Fiancee's taste: Lighter body. Not much experience with wine, period. Enjoys moscato and tends to shy away from reds because they're too strong. Tried a pinto noir and could only enjoy it with cake. Strongly dislikes Cabs and American Malbec (we agree on the malbec).
Do any of you have an idea of where we can meet in the middle? I would like a few suggestions so that we can experiment a bit over the next year and see if it's possible.
