Ready to drink Bordeaux under €100

Hi everyone,

I’m quite new to the wine world. A few months ago, I started buying some bottles based on what I thought I’d like and wines with a strong reputation, with the idea of cellaring them for 5, 10, or 20 years.

However, I’ve realized that this approach doesn't make much sense. I have a cellar with many "infants" and nothing to drink today (still, I'll be happy when the time comes).

I'd like to find some aged Bordeaux to enjoy now or within a couple of years.

I am looking at iDealwine (I'm based in Italy) with a budget of €40-100 per bottle. What I'm currently looking at is:

  • Ch. Latour-Martillac 2015
  • Ch. Branaire-Ducru 2016
  • Ch. Barde-Haut 2016
  • Ch. Canon la Gaffelière 2015

My questions for you:

  • Are these ready enough to be enjoyed now, or should I look for older vintages?
  • Any specific Châteaux or vintages in my budget you'd recommend for someone starting to explore Bordeaux?
