Will be driving about 6 to 8 cases of wine with one overnight stay where low temp will be 15-20° F. Bring them into the hotel room overnight? Also, this wine has unfortunate history of being subjected to storage with temp swings from 50ish to almost 80°. It is likely already very damaged. It is an assortment of older reds from the mid 70s forward. There are some 80s Paulliacs, a Margaux or three, Barolos from 70s and 80s. Fair amount of Cal cabernet sauvignons and french bordeaux and burgundy, a bunch of mouton cadet from early 80s. Maybe 1 in 10 will be drinkable based on some random testing. Am i too worried about one night of cold exposure?
