I have a friend who thinks expensive wine is always better no matter what. She always emphasizes price first and equates that with good wine. There were times where I caught her not really liking a wine and when she found out the wine was $190, she suddenly changed her opinion and would say something like “oh this is opening up nicely” or “I see now why it’s good”.
