In the winery where I work in Monferrato (Piedmont), sustainability is something we talk about a lot internally, but it’s interesting to see how differently people perceive it.
Some customers ask specifically for organic bottles, while others don’t seem to care much as long as the wine is good.
From what I see, the topic is often more about trust, farming practices, and environmental impact rather than just the certification itself.
I’m curious about the perspective of wine drinkers here:
• Do you actually check if a wine is organic?
• Does it influence your decision when buying?
• Or do you mainly focus on region, grape variety, and producer?
